Bruce Willis and John Travolta will reunite on screen for the first time since Pulp Fiction in the new film Paradise City.

Though the actors have been involved in projects like Look Who’s Talking and Look Who’s Talking Too before – in which Willis provided the voiceover for a baby – the only time they have acted in front of a camera together was in Quentin Tarantino’s film.

Paradise City will find Willis playing Ryan Swan, a renegade bounty hunter who must carve his way through the Hawaiian crime world in order to seek vengeance on a crime kingpin played by Travolta, who just so happened to have had murdered Willis’ father.

Thai actress Praya Lundberg will act opposite Willis and Travolta in the female lead, according to Deadline, who was the first to report the casting news.

The movie will be directed by Chuck Russell (The Mask, Scorpion King) and will be co-written by Corey Large and Ed Drake.

Large, who has written and produced a number of Willis action flicks, including the recent Cosmic Sin, is co-writing Paradise City along with Drake, and will also star in the film as one of Willis’ bounty hunting buddies.

Director Russell is best known for helming A Nightmare on Elm Street 3, The Blob, The Mask, Eraser, and The Scorpion King.

Will Paradise City prove to be a worthy reunion between Willis and Travolta, or just another in the long line of forgettable action films that they’ve appeared in over the years?
