District 9 and Elysium filmmaker Neill Blomkamp was due to make Inferno with Taylor Kitsch this summer, but the COVID-19 pandemic ruined those plans. Instead he has apparently been working on a secret project. A small, self-contained supernatural horror.
Blomkamp also wrote the script for the movie and shot it this summer in British Columbia, Canada with mostly local actors. No plot or other details are known for this, his first movie since Chappie in 2015.
Post-production is expected to be finished in the spring, with a release date yet to be locked.
