Chris Matheson, who wrote the film with his Bill & Ted co-creator Ed Solomon says –
“The daughters really love their dads’ music and want to help them,”
“They’re trying to help their dads put together this amazing band to save the universe, essentially. You know, Ed and I always imagined Bill And Ted as [not] having any other friends. They just kind of hang out together. They’ve got this kind of weird mind-meld and Billie and Thea have the same thing. They actually really love what their dads are doing and so they decide, well, we’re going to help them, we’re going to help our dads put together an incredible band.”
Also starring are Anthony Carrigan (Barry), Beck Bennett (SNL), who portrays Ted’s younger brother, Deacon, and musician-actor Kid Cudi.
Returning to the franchise will be William Sadler as the Grim Reaper. Speaking about Death’s return, Parisot added –
“Death was in the band in the second film. Things didn’t go all that well. But I’ll leave it at that!”
Bill & Ted Face The Music is released on the 21st of August.
