Dave Grohl To Make Cameo

Bill & Ted: Face The Music is out in a few days and another teaser trailer has dropped for the newest chapter in the franchise.

The film sees Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves reprising their roles as Ted ‘Theodore’ Logan and Bill S. Preston respectively, which they first played in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure back in 1989.

Rolling Stone is reporting that the pair will be joined on the latest quest of their time-travelling adventures by Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl, who will make an appearance in the movie.

The cameo has been listed on his IMDB page, which states that he’ll appear as himself in the latest installment of the sci-fi comedy series.

Describing the plot of the film, franchise writer Chris Matheson stated –

“[Bill and Ted] were told when they were teenagers that they were going to save reality, and they’ve been working on it the whole time… Now an emissary from the future comes and says, ‘You’ve got to do it right now. We’ve got literally 80 minutes or all of reality will come to an end.’”

In a recent interview, Reeves and Winter sat down to talk about their bond as the dudes from San Dimas, and shared a story from their first audition –

Rounding out the cast is Jillian Bell, Beck Bennett, Anthony Carrigan, and Holland Taylor.

Bill & Ted Face The Music will now be released in select theaters and on-demand September 1st.
