Ana de Armas is quite possibly the hottest woman working in Hollywood today and we’ll soon get to see her, in all her heavenly glory, as Marilyn Monroe in the upcoming Blonde. The movie has been given an NC-17 rating due to violence, obscene sex, nudity, and harsh language. And it’s the sex and nudity part that Ana has got her panties in a twist about.

Speaking with Variety, Ana said that the idea of nude clips from the film circulating the internet out of context is “upsetting”. She explains:
“I know what’s going to go viral, and it’s disgusting. It’s upsetting just to think about it. I can’t control it; you can’t really control what they do and how they take things out of context.
I don’t think it gave me second thoughts; it just gave me a bad taste to think about the future of those clips.”
What does she possibly mean by “think about the future of those clips”?
Ana de Baps Out
I know Ana is now A-List but to get all uppity about nude clips of her online nowadays is laughable. She’s made a very successful career for herself and good on her, however flaunting her naked body on screen has been a big part of getting her where she is today.
I first laid eyes on her in the Roberto Duran biopic called Hands Of Stone. True to form, she gets her kit off and participates in a hot as f*** sex scene. If it wasn’t for that scene, the film would have been largely forgettable.
In fact, Ana has a long storied history of appearing in her birthday suit. Films such as Knock Knock with Keanu Reeves, The Night Clerk and of course Blade Runner 2049 are the most recent and high profile ones.
We also have smaller movies such as Mentiras y Gordas, Hispania, la leyenda and Anima in which Ana can be seen making clips that have a seedy future.

Spare Us
Ana is high profile enough now to pick and choose what roles she wants. In the age of #MeToo, she also has enough power to demand script changes.
She read the script for Blonde and she has a history of baring all on screen at the drop of a hat. Stunningly beautiful and with a body to die for, we are thankful that you like to flaunt it. So spare us your faux outrage.
Now, I’m off to get a cold shower and I’m sure you Outposters are immediately opening new tabs in your browser and Googling all those film titles. You animals.
