Spielberg And Trevorrow Both Involved

The Jurassic Outpost website is reporting that there is a television series of Jurassic World by Amblin Television currently in development.

In addition, the report states that both Colin Trevorrow and Steven Spielberg, founder of the franchise, are involved. They will feature as producers alongside Amblin’s Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank.

Plot details are unknown at this stage, but is said to be part of the same continuity as the films, and tie into the upcoming Jurassic World: Dominion. The current state of its development and release date are also unknown.

Meanwhile, Jurassic World: Dominion, production recently began and is currently on track to hit its scheduled release date.

The cast will see the return of Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Justice Smith, Daniella Pineda, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, and fan-favourite trio Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum, as well as newcomers Mamoudou Athie and DeWanda Wise.

Directed by Trevorrow, Jurassic World: Dominion is set to be released on June 11th, 2021.
