Amazon Prime has released the trailer for All the Old Knives. This R-rated thriller is based on Olen Steinhauer’s highly regarded 2015 spy novel of the same name. It stars Chris Pine, Thandiwe Newton, Laurence Fishburne, and Jonathan Pryce.
Pine plays CIA agent Henry Pelham who is on a mole hunt following an information breach that led to over 100 people being killed. The traitor came from the Vienna office where he was serving at the time.
On a break from his assignment, he grabs dinner in the US with an ex-lover and retired colleague (Newton) and it becomes clear that the sins of the past may be catching up with them.
Steinhauer penned the screenplay. Janus Metz directs. All The Old Knives will arrive simultaneously in cinemas and on Prime from April 8th. Here is the trailer:
