Remember Alf? He had a sit-com that ran from 1986 – 1990. The show as about a furry, wise cracking alien that lived with a family after he crash landed in their garage.
Well, apparently, Alf never went away. He’s got a Twitter account and everything. Isn’t social media weird?
Well, there has been talk of Alf making a cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Production of the third movie recently wrapped and it seems there have been a lot of cameos and references to other Marvel movies.
It turns out that Alf and Guardians director, James Gunn, have struck up a friendship on Twitter, and this has led to speculation that Alf might be in Guardians 3.
Can't two celebrities be best friends without it being a promotion? @JamesGunn @Marvel https://t.co/ve2W1K9wI4

Gunn pointed out that Alf had already made a cameo, of sorts, in the first Guardians movie, but only in sticker form.
Little do they know, like many of my closest friends, you’ve already cameoed in Guardians, @ALFforreal. https://t.co/btZjDUAlZd pic.twitter.com/s1TN5WlCMx

It turns out that Alf was once part of the Marvel Universe. He had his very own Marvel comic series that lasted for about four years. He was also included in the Evolutionary Wars crossover story, that was in some of the Marvel annuals in 1988. Rumours are that the Evolutionary Wars will be involved in Guardians 3.
Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is due out 5th May 2023, so we’ll have to wait to see if Alf is in it.
