Lionsgate has released the first full official trailer for Die In A Gunfight, a new action movie from filmmaker Collin Schiffli.
Die In A Gunfight stars Diego Boneta (Terminator: Dark Fate) and Alexandra Daddario (True Detective) as Mary and Ben, two lovers whose forbidden love affair causes a rift between their two respective families that happen to be rival crime syndicates.
Justin Chatwin and Travis Fimmel also star in the film as a mobster and a hitman. They are tasked with breaking up Mary and Ben’s love affair. They’re literally trying to kill the relationship.

Lionsgate’s official synopsis reads:
“A visually stunning movie with an exciting mix of action, humor, & heart, Collin Schiffli’s Die in a Gunfight follows Mary (Alexandra Daddario) & Ben (Diego Boneta), the star-crossed black sheep of two powerful families engaged in a centuries-long feud. When Mary and Ben reignite an affair after many years apart, their forbidden love triggers a dangerous collision of schemers and killers. Fists & bullets fly, but maybe, just maybe, love will conquer all.”
The film also stars Wade Allain-Marcus, Emmanuelle Chriqui, John Ralston, and Nicola Correia-Damude, with Billy Crudup as the narrator, the thriller is directed by Collin Schiffli, who previously made the indie crime dramas All Creatures Here Below and Animals.
The screenplay is written by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari. Lionsgate will release Schiffli’s Die In A Gunfight in select theaters and on VOD starting July 16th.
