Rick And Morty likes to surprise fans, so it was just a matter of time before the hit series stepped out with another unannounced trailer.

Rick And Morty

Rick And Morty seems to be ramping up the hype for its fifth season on Adult Swim, and it looks like the whole family will be getting in on even more off-the-wall sci-fi adventures from Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon.

Scored by Beastie Boys’ Sabotage, the trailer highlights just a few of the adventures the Sanchez/Smith family will go on in the new season, including piloting a Voltron-esque giant mech, meeting “a strange, horny ocean man” and fighting an army of anthropomorphic turkeys.

Here it is:

Rick And Morty will be returning for ten episodes, and rather than break up the season into two parts like for the fourth season, it looks like we’re getting a full slate of new episodes this Summer.

It was recently announced that Rick And Morty will be branching off with a new spin-off series focusing on The Vindicators. Releasing as a set of shorts online with a run of 8-10 episodes planned, this new spin-off is currently scheduled for a debut sometime this year or in 2022.

Rick And Morty‘s writers are already hard at work on writing the seventh season (the sixth has already been scripted), and we’ll get new episodes every year until the previous deal with Adult Swim runs out and/or hopefully gets renewed.
