Mr. Bond Poses With His Latest Girl
The leading stars of the latest James Bond film have gathered together for a photo shoot in Italy as talk about who should be next up to play the British spy continues.
Daniel Craig and Léa Seydoux posed together with the city of Matera as a backdrop, and where the upcoming movie No Time To Die is being filmed.
Director Cary Joji Fukunaga also stood alongside the pair and got in on the official photograph action.
No Time to Die marks 51-year-old Craig’s last outing as Bond, and earlier this week, former 007 actor Pierce Brosnan said he believed it was time for an actress to take on the role. Brosnan said:
“I think we’ve watched the guys do it for the last 40 years, get out of the way, guys, and put a woman up there! I think it would be exhilarating, it would be exciting,”
However, UK TV presenter Piers Morgan, chided the idea, saying:
“Here’s my question, Why? Why? What the world really needs right now is a female, woke James Bond, who is going to be very nice to people, not kill anyone. What a load of horse manure. Why should James Bond be a woman? Why?”
Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge has been drafted in to help write the script while Ralph Fiennes and Ben Whishaw will return as M and Q respectively. Oscar-winning actor Rami Malek is cast as “a mysterious villain.”
Naomie Harris is also coming back as Moneypenny and Rory Kinnear will again play MI6 Chief of Staff Bill Tanner. Seydoux is reprising her role as Madeleine Swann, who starred in 2015’s Spectre, while Jeffrey Wright is returning as ex-CIA agent Felix Leiter.
Filming for the movie has also been taking place in Jamaica, London and at Pinewood Studios.
